Patient Review: Last year, on this day, I had my leg operated on in Mumbai by Dr Saurabh Joshi, the best doctor in Asia. I had a complaint of thrombosis in my leg 12 years ago today. Which was fine, it was done by medicine and cold water compress but it gradually turned into varicose vein. Due to injury from last year bike , it turned into ulcer which was very scary and slow to see.
Slowly it was happening in the whole leg, it was becoming difficult to stay true. Treatment was going on from Bhagalpur, there was no scope for improvement, then from August 16 to August 24, I went to the best institute and one of the best doctors in India and contacted about the consultation and its treatment. First move to Patna and same day move to Bangalore. 17 to 21 aug I went to different institutes in bangalore to understand about it
1) First move to Aestar hospital.
2) Jain hospital
3) Colombo aisa
4) Naryana Herdelya where I met Dr.Robert Jorge who is a world famous expert in varicose vein treatment with laser technique, he was the first to stabilize my leg and make me able to stand.
We all had completely decided that the operation has to be done with laser technology only. He gave us the time of Next Friday. In the meantime, to get 2nd opinion, after going to Biranchi in Hyderabad and Gangaram Hospital in Delhi and Vellore to get information, then in this travel, I found Dr. Saurabh Joshi and The Vein Center Mumbai.
At the behest of the big doctor, he saw my leg from Mumbai for about 1 hour through WhatsApp and explained everything by talking. He told about a new technique Venaseal. We took a flight from Bangalore at 2:00 in the night and went to Mumbai at 5:00 in the morning. And being a great recommendation.
He did my operation on that day for the holiday which is on the occasion of his birthday and the best thing is I was scared. He was reciting Sunderkand. He recited Sunderkand in his operation theatre.
He finished the operation in about 4 hours while reciting various hymns and songs, then he fed a cake, made breakfast and said that you can now return home with your feet, I could not believe it but God’s grace doctor’s hard work Due to the prayers of lakhs of children, it helped to come from Mumbai to Bhagalpur. Today it is 1 year. I am completely healthy by the grace of God and your love and 1 year ago I shared a video with Saurabh Joshi.

Patient Review: I am Dr. Sudhakar Joshi, 74. I had very painful soles since last 15 days. There was fullness.. oedema on left sole…making walking very painful. Dr. Saurabh Joshi, my son did USG and confirmed that I have varicose veins on both legs. On Thursday 3rd December, he performed the Venaseal procedure on my both legs in his Dr. Joshi’s Vein Center at Khar, Mumbai. Believe me, being in Medical profession for the past more than 40 years.
For a Doctor it is very difficult, emotionally and otherwise to treat his/her own blood relative, least father or mother. It needs extraordinary confidence and courage to do it. I am proud to say that my son Dr. Saurabh displayed both and performed this Venaseal procedure on me flawlessly.

Hi I’m Rina from Mumbai. I am 63 years old and have been suffering from severe Varicose Veins for many years. It was so bad that my right ankle was perpetually swollen and blackened. It was extremely painful and I could not do any sort of activity, even walking for a few minutes or having a bath resulted in excessive pain and discomfort.
I am a heart patient and no anaesthesiologist would give me anaesthesia so any kind of invasive treatment was out of question. I did have a non invasive treatment done in 2011 called Foam Sclerotherapy but within a few months my Varicose Veins were back. I had no other recourse and was under the impression that I would have to bear this pain discomfort and embarrassment for the rest of my life and live without enjoying my life to the fullest.
One day while watching YouTube I came across an advertisement for Venaseal which was done in the Vein Center at Khar. I researched a bit and was convinced that this was meant for me. I consulted Dr. Saurabh Joshi at the Vein Center Khar. He is a wonderful person and an angel in human form.
He checked out my Varicose Veins did a Doppler Scan and explained to me the Venaseal Procedure with utmost patience and care. Then came the pre – procedure tests. Being a heart patient there were a few extra tests and consents I had to take than a normal patient but Dr Saurabh was very understanding and careful and explained each and every extra consent that I had to take and why.
Anyway I passed the plethora of tests and consents and only when Dr Saurabh was convinced that I could go through this procedure without a problem did we set up a date for the procedure. The day for the procedure dawned and I was a little worried as I can’t bear pain but Dr Saurabh and the anaesthesiologist put me at ease talking to me and calming me they even put on my favourite Hemant Kumar songs.
Finally I was ready for the procedure. The procedure itself was only for half an hour or so and totally painless even for a person like me who is petrified of injections and pain. I didn’t even realise when the procedure started and when it was over.
Today it been a week and I went for my follow up consultation and I couldn’t believe the change in my legs. The swelling has almost disappeared and so has the discolouration pain and discomfort. After years I was able to look at my legs without being perturbed and Dr Saurabh has assured me that they will get better in the coming days. I can’t wait to start my exercises and yoga.
I am so grateful to Dr Saurabh, The Vein Center and the Venaseal procedure for giving me back my legs and my life because without my legs my life was useless. I would recommend this procedure to all those suffering from Varicose Veins. I would like to THANK Dr Saurabh and all the staff of The Vein Center Khar for looking after me so well.
